Editorial policy
Editorial policy and affiliate disclosure
BestStorefront helps ecommerce owners and operators choose software. Commercial relationships can pay for that work. They cannot buy a review, a ranking, a comparison outcome, or a recommendation.
What our pages are, and what they are not
Every product page states its evidence stage. Today, every product page on BestStorefront is an independent editorial overview: research built from the vendor's own pricing pages, documentation, help centers, and app-store listings, checked on the date shown. None of our product pages yet reflects hands-on testing, and none carries a score or star rating. When we test a product, the page will say who tested it, on which plan, and when. Our full process is on the How we research and test page.
Affiliate links
Some links on BestStorefront are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked with a disclosure next to the button or link, and they carry rel="sponsored".
- Whether a product has an affiliate program does not decide whether we cover it, how we describe it, or where it appears on a page.
- Products without affiliate programs are covered on the same terms. Many of the links on this site go straight to the vendor's own pages with no tracking.
- Pricing and source citations always link to the vendor's own pages, never through an affiliate redirect.
Sponsorships
Brands can pay to sponsor clearly labeled content and distribution (see Partner with us). Sponsored content is labeled "Sponsored" at the top of the page. A sponsor cannot buy a positive review, a score, a ranking, a comparison win, or an editorial recommendation, and cannot approve our copy before publication.
How we check facts
- Prices, plan names, billing terms, and fees come from first-party sources and show the date we checked them, with the currency and billing basis (monthly or annual).
- When a vendor publishes conflicting figures, we say so and link both sources rather than picking one.
- Vendor claims are labeled as vendor claims. Our conclusions are labeled as editorial assessments.
- A "Last verified" date changes only when we actually re-check the source. An "Updated" date changes only when the page's content changes in a substantive way.
Corrections
If you find an error, tell us through the contact page and include the page URL and a source. We correct material factual errors promptly and note significant corrections in the page's change log.
